Hi there! I am so glad you’re here!!
If you didn’t catch it yet - I’m Joy! I am a Wedding & Family Photographer living in Lancaster, PA with my husband, Nate, and our three kiddos, Gabe, Abby & Ellie. And I seriously love, love, LOVE what I do!
To me, photography is about authenticity. It is to capture the rawness of who you are and the realness of where you’re at in life. A picture is worth 1,000 words, right?
The way I see it, your life is worth celebrating!!
We grow over time. You're not the same person you were 5 years ago, let alone one year ago. Don’t let this special season of your life pass you by without capturing it to remember forever.
Through getting photos taken, you're leaving a legacy for your family.
Personally, I want my kids to see who Mom & Dad were in every season of life, even with those extra 15 lbs that we may be embarrassed about. But it’s not about that. We should allow ourselves the freedom and the joy to document every beautiful and special season regardless of our imperfections. I can guarantee you 10 years down the road, you’ll be happy you did. Think about it — would you regret not having photos done?
Especially because, let’s be real, how often are you in the photos that you take on your cell phone? Aside from a selfie, it isn’t too often that we find ourselves in the picture.

A few random Joy facts:
I received a point-and-shoot camera for my 12th birthday and I haven’t been able to put a camera down since.
An empty sink is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.
Favorite animal: platypus.
I love playing sports. I grew up with two older brothers - they introduced me to backyard football which has always been a childhood favorite of mine. Tackle football. I was that savage 10 year old girl keeping up with the boys.
I’m a pretty good shot — not just with a camera, but with a firearm.
I know how to beatbox. Boom, cat, boom boom cat.
