Dan & the girls // Father's Heart Series Family session with Dad and daughters in Columbia, PA
Back in June, Heather sneakily texted me without Dan knowing while I was away on vacation. I was so excited to see her name come across my phone notification because they’re always such a fun family to photograph!
About a year and a half ago, Dan inquired about a maternity session for Heather as she was pregnant with Cora! They braved that cold, snowy winter day so it was a nice change of season to photograph Dan with the girls on a warm summer evening!
Heather pulled off the surprise for a late Father’s Day gift to Dan as they showed up at Chickies Rock Overlook just moments before I arrived. As the session progressed, there was no denying the amount of love that this family shares is greater than meets the eye. Charley warmed up after time while Cora was all giggles, smiles, and bubbly the entire time regardless of it being close to her bed time!
I was smitten! These photos turned out fantastic, as you’ll notice. :) Not to toot my own horn, but I think I captured the essence of this sweet family — especially towards the end of the session because, although the photo shoot was primarily just for Dan, I just HAD to get Heather in on it. I mean, how could I exclude the mother of these children from these sweet family photos! I’m not heartless!
Heather & Dan. You guys are so blessed, but not only that, you are a blessing to all those around you — especially these two doll-babies!! Your girls are precious and your family is amazing. Thank you for inviting me in to your little bubble, I greatly enjoyed myself. :) <3
