Jamie and Ryan have SUCH an amazing story of years of waiting for this sweet blessing and finally, their dreams and prayers have come to fruition! I AM SO EXCITED FOR THEM! If anyone deserves joy, it’s the Ostroms!
Their attitude toward life and parenthood was SO invigorating, contagious, and refreshing! I walked away from this photo shoot feeling insanely joyful and grateful for the life I have. It’s truly amazing how you can become infected by someone else’s passionate love for their family.
We all talked throughout the entire hour about parenthood experiences and the trials we each went through to get to where we are today, and laughed practically three-quarters of the time!
I remember one point where Ryan was holding Jace and Jamie joked that the baby was unaware that “mom” wasn’t holding him. A few seconds later, Jamie adds, “But wait, if mom is standing in front of me…. Then …. WHO’S…. HOLDING… ME?!?!” All of the sudden, Jace looks up to see Ryan and Jace began crying. Ryan, Jamie, and I immediately started cracking up! Oh my goodness, I will forever cherish that moment. It was perfect timing, really.
Seriously though, I wish I had more words to express just how all-consuming their joy was. It was an absolute pleasure to photograph their little family; Ryan & Jamie, know that I will ALWAYS be cheering you guys on! I am SO, SO, SO happy that you guys finally get to live out your dreams with your precious boy Jace. He is absolutely a blessing and you both are AMAZING parents!! I love you guys!!!!!! I cannot wait to see what God has in store for your family in this wonderful journey!
